well, despite all of my requests for him to stay 2 forever, abram still had a birthday and turned 3 years old! yesterday was his actual birthday, but we wanted to have a pool party for him at mawmaw & pawpaw's new pool so we waited til today. unfortunately, the weather decided to give us a tease of fall...60 degrees does not make for warm pool weather. we made the best of it though and had lots of fun at our house with some close family. he looked SUPER cute in his smurf tshirt and enjoyed his special day.


he wanted a baby einstein caterpillar "cake" like he had at his 1st birthday :)
