4th grade farewell celebration

eli has finished his elementary days and will be heading to the intermediate school in the fall. our wonderful friend/neighbor, susie, helped plan an amazing day for the 4th graders! we all had a blast!! a pizza party, bounce houses, dunk tank (jerry took a turn in it!!), photo booth, clown, DJ, and a silly string fight to end the day. we are so proud of our little man.

abram finally got to enjoy one of his christmas presents from santa last night! our seats were SO close to the stage...he sat in amazement almost the entire time. i actually enjoyed this concert...very entertaining and their songs are cute & catchy. anything musical, involving instruments and a stage, make this little boy happy and i was thrilled to share his special night out with him.

augustus

this year, the fourth graders rehearsed very hard to perform the willy wonka kids production at eli's school. they did a fabulous job and our own augustus gloop even had a german accent! these pictures are not good because it was so dark, but he made a pretty cute, chubby german boy :)

military ball

getting all fancied up for our first military ball. lots of pressure to do things the right way, ie. don't touch your chair or sit down before the president & guest of honor sits down, toast appropriately, introduce yourself to the president without cocktails in hand, etc. it was a good time though & gave us another date night!

our 1st baby boy is 10 years old!! he had a fun-filled weekend...a sleepover with his cousin and then another one with a few of his best buddies. lots of rowdy boy time ;)

she looks so sweet & innocent here, right? well, she had just gotten caught getting into a drawer with our gum stash.

see the evidence?! i have no idea where she learned to chew gum! but she seriously chews it for longer than her brothers do!

of course, she sees the camera and knows she's caught, so she starts doing silly faces for me...ROT-TEN!!

boys being boys. they made brains, barf, skin, & bugs. the brains i tasted...gross! they loved it all though, of course.
