i'm the first to admit that switching eli to the avon school system made me nervous. i'm so thankful though that we got such a wonderful 1st grade teacher who was the perfect match for eli. since this was her first year teaching, i wanted the class to make her something extra special to remember them by. each student wrote a special message or drew a picture for her and i put it all together in this cute little scrapbook. it turned out just perfect. i also had them each think of a word to describe her and we put them all on a homemade bookmark with little beads that said "u r"...anytime she needs a little pick-me-up, all she has to do is look at that bookmark and she'll hopefully be uplifted by all of the thoughtful & sweet words the kids used to describe her. thank you, mrs. such, for a fantastic 1st grade year!!

and thanks to you for being so wonderful to me! You have a great family and Eli is a wonderful kid! I wrote about the scrapbook too on my blog if you haven't seen it already! Hope your summer is going well! (And congrats to Eli's straight A's all year!)
