so how does a 2 year old get silly putty in his hair while he's napping???? apparently his thoughtful 4 year old brother decided to go check on him and in his own words, "see if he was hot". while in there, he put the silly putty "on his head". there's still no explanation from this thoughtful 4 year old as to, 1. why he was wandering around when he was supposed to be asleep too, and 2. why he thought it was okay to put silly putty in his brother's hair. obviously abram was not amused when the attempts began to remove this.
it was stuck almost to his scalp, so just cutting it out immediately would've resulted in a nice bald spot. thankfully, he was due for a haircut soon, so i decided to try to ease it away from his scalp with some vegetable oil before the haircut
his hair is so blond that you don't see many flaws anyway, so i just cut it out and tried to blend the spot in with the rest of his hair. needless to say, ALL of the silly putty is now in the trash!
