"...the journey of caring for, raising, training, and loving children will mark us indelibly and powerfully. We cannot be the same people we once were; we will be forever changed, eternally altered. Spiritually speaking, we need to raise children every bit as much as they need us to raise them."

nap time
i got the picture i was talking about in the last post :) it looks like abram even tried to cover him up with a blankie!
i am VERY allergic to all animals and we think the kids all have bad allergies too! however, there are certain types of dogs that are hypoallergenic and nonshedding. oliver is one of them! i have not had any problems with him and neither have the kids. of course, there's no guarantee, but we did a lot of research before getting him.
Hmmm...I'll have to remember that. We will probably wait until we move before we think more about getting a dog. But, it's good to know that we might have options for getting a dog that can come inside with us. Thanks. :)
i think this picture makes him look a lot bigger than he is because of the angle or something. he's only 10 lbs. or at least he was a few months ago. maybe a pound bigger now, but it's mostly that his hair has really filled in. plus he needs a trim, BAD!

That is too cute! Seriously. I wish we could have a dog, but we're all allergic to pet dander.
