eli is amazing us with his reading skills! he started reading pretty much right after starting kindergarten, but recently he's reading everything. street signs, rules on games, and he even starting reading his pick of bedtime stories. pretty soon, he'll be the one reading to his brothers before their nap and bedtime. the expectations now in kindergarten are way different than when we grew up. i think the only thing i learned then was how to tie my shoes! such a smart little boy and a testament to what reading from the time a child is a tiny baby will do...he LOVES it!!
