9 months

on Christmas day, kinley turned 9 months old! this past month has brought about many changes to our sweet baby girl. first of all, she’s into everything!!! she can scoot around super fast and has been found under the kitchen table, eating the Christmas tree, pushing over the magazine holder so she can eat magazines, eating the dog bone, going after the dog bowls, etc. she is now trying very hard to pull herself up to the coffee table and her activity center toy. we even had to drop the crib a few weeks ago because she was trying to pull up on the rail. it’s funny to go in now and see her just sitting up looking out, waiting for us to get her. she just gives us a big grin as soon as she sees us come in. she would probably talk in her crib for hours if we let her when she wakes up. she still sleeps 12 hours at night and is still taking 2 naps. she's saying “da da”, likes to click her tongue, and is just much more animated now. she scrunches up her nose and makes a snorting little sound…it’s adorable. she was a mad woman with the wrapping paper last week…she’d go to town on ripping it and trying to eat it. she’s definitely not afraid of anything…loud noises, rough boys, etc. she can take it all. she now has 3 teeth!!! the bottom two are in and the right side one on top is in. pretty soon she's gonna look like a baby straight off of 'twilight' with her vampire fang! one of her new tricks is "loving on" her blankies and animals (as shown below)...precious!
she’s become a fantastic eater now that she can eat "real" food which has been so nice. her faves are peas, carrots, and green beans, along with her yogurt. she now weighs 19 lbs & is 28 inches long keeping her in the 75%ile. the nice thing about having lots of rolls on her thighs is that she doesn't cry when she gets her shots! and of course, she's still crazy about her brothers...can you tell?!!
ps. i got a new camera...a "real" camera, can you tell the difference?! i'm SO excited to learn!!!
