"...the journey of caring for, raising, training, and loving children will mark us indelibly and powerfully. We cannot be the same people we once were; we will be forever changed, eternally altered. Spiritually speaking, we need to raise children every bit as much as they need us to raise them."

the proof
lately, caleb and abram are constantly picking on each other...hitting, screaming, taking toys, arguing, etc. it's exhausting. i'm hoping it's just a phase as they learn how to get along, share, love, and accept each other. so this morning when i caught caleb in this random act of kindness, i had to capture it on camera as my proof and reminder that they do really love each other. i heard him telling abram to sit down and "i'll help you" get your shoes on. he fixed his socks and tried very hard to get abram's shoes on his fat little feet. it was a moment to treasure in this life of chaos between them right now :)

I TOTALLY RELATE right now! Sibling rivalry is at an all time high in this house as well. Glad to know there are others surviving this exhausting phase and catching the glimpses of brotherly love that are to be found!
Oh I am so glad my boys aren't the only ones fighting. :) Yesterday Hayden took off his diaper, and I caught Hunter trying to help him to the potty.....So cute...but by the time I got the camera it was over. Glad you got a pic of this precious moment!
