these were not only lots of fun to make, but VERY tasty. ok, well most were...we were not too impressed with the overwhelming sweetness of the aliens. jerry's favorite were the ghosts...my fave were the mummies. pretty sure we ate ALL of both of these!

1st field trip ever

how is it possible that my baby boy just had his 1st school field trip?!! (sniff sniff) well, he did and it was fun, of course. we went to beasley's apple orchard to learn all about the red & green fruit. this was my 3rd time to do this field trip, so i'm pretty sure when it's kinley's turn, i'll be able to lead it, ha! the best part of any field trip is the bus ride...he was SO excited! and it was even better because his best friend/cousin, molly, got to experience it all with him. they are SO precious together.

the pumpkin patch...finally!

was beginning to wonder if we were ever gonna make it to beaseley's this year. seems like every weekend we had something going on or daddy was working. anyway, as soon as we got on the hayride, it started sprinkling, but thankfully stopped as we were on our way out to the patch! the boys found their perfect pick and we enjoyed our annual treat of delicious caramel apples! (and for the record, eli actually tried one AND liked it!!)

caleb is 6!

my only brown eyed baby turned 6 years old on friday!!! he got to have his very first "friends" party this year at the flip zone. the boys all had a blast! unfortunatley, his birthday is always near fall break, so not everyone could come, but it ended up being just perfect!



of course, we still celebrated with family too, so here are his special request cupcakes or every variety of chocolate & white :)

this sunday at church was baby dedication day. our sweet baby girl belongs to our great God and we pray she will grow to know Him in a powerful way.
