i love blackmail!

i'm not gonna lie...

...this sweet baby girl is now a handful! she's WAAYYY more brave than any of her brothers ever were! i guess it's our fault for nicknaming her 'monkey'...she's definitely living up to that & will soon need a helmet to protect that pretty noggin! of course, if you ask my parents, she definitely gets it honestly. afterall, i DO still have a knot on my forehead for a reason!

13.1 miles

two lifelong girlfriends & i decided to train for the minimarathon this year. i've done it several times in the past, but that was 3-4 babies ago, so i wasn't sure how i'd do. it was awesome! despite the fact that i couldn't bend my knee for a few days afterwards, i felt pretty darn good!
angie, me, & dawn...used to sing on the swings at recess together & talk about being famous someday :) we were just a few among this small crowd!!

i tried really hard to finish in under 2:30...and i did it (with just 1 potty break)!

1st tooth

we recently discovered that caleb had a shark tooth. he was somewhat bothered by it and has been working hard to get the baby tooth out so that his big tooth would come forward. well, on his way out the door from kindergarten, he pulled it out all by himself! the tooth fairy brought him $5 for that special 1st tooth!
