pirate party time

we celebrated caleb's 5th birthday a little early this year because we'll be in florida for his actual birthday. he wanted a pirate party, so here is our little pirate in action!

we had a perfect fall day to get together with everyone from jerry's family. lots of good food & good times catching up with family who we look forward to seeing every year here! the kids are at an age now where they can run for hours in the woods, finding snakes and getting VERY dirty. the hayride is always a treat, as well as the awesome bonfire! great memories!

as i was uploading the pictures jerry took, i came across a few of these pictures. apparently they thought it was hilarious that there were port-o-lets randomly placed in the orchard, so they just had to get some pictures of it...silly boys!

takin' care of business

i usually wake the boys up after i get out of the shower in the morning, but eli seems to be an early riser & sometimes beats me to it. on this monday morning, i came downstairs to find this...he had poured caleb a big glass of apple juice & had fixed them both a plate of pancakes! he even had a dollup of butter on his stack!good job, buddy!

our pizza palace

the boys all made their own pizzas then we took daddy's order and waited on him before he left for work tonight. they had a blast...just wish i would've gotten more pictures of it all.

the adult pizza made by chef momma was delicious!!
