twister

we figured out why this game says "ages 6 and over"...
these little legs simply cannot stretch that far! boy, they tried though & still loved it!
we even got maw maw to join in on the fun :) oliver provided an extra challenge to the game by always being right underneath the foot/hand you needed to move!

you can't make this stuff up

i came downstairs from doing laundry and caleb had put the dog on his leash. i said, "caleb, whatcha doin'?" his reply..."i put the choker on ollie so he'll lay with me on the couch. it's okay if he tries to get up cuz he'll just choke himself." oh my goodness! poor dog. what makes this even better is that caleb actually put the leash on himself and wanted abram to walk him around the house like a dog!! i couldn't get the camera fast enough to get a picture of it though. never a dull moment.
i don't think caleb would be laughing if he could see ollie's face in this one!
and he finally submits...

my warning

moms of baby boys...soon your baby will be a preschooler and with that many changes will occur. one which i have witnessed recently is a significant change in vocabulary. every sentence your son will say will soon have the words, "poopy", "butt", or "pee pee" in it. it will never be appropriate and even normal conversations will be interrupted with these words. one of them will become dominant, such as "poopy" in our house. this seems to be a long phase and may even rub off on any toddler, or even older children, in the home. i suggest an economy size bottle of tabasco sauce.
